Best Moments From The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show ⇒ The biggest international boat show of the yachting industry has sadly come to an end yesterday, the 3rd of November. Guests got to see some amazing yacht debuts and were able to browse through the booths of yacht manufacturers and designers, yacht products companies and interior design firms dedicated to elevating life on board. Let's take a look at the best moments of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The Viking Yachts Company
This American yacht firm has set a new record for this event, bringing 21 boats from 33 to 93 ft to the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, including their newest line of high-performance Valhalla Boatworks luxurious center consoles. The firm is celebrating 55 years as a family-owned company.
The Sealegs Electric E4
The New Zealand building company Sealegs unveiled its new amphibious boat, the Sealegs Electric E4, which runs on a lithium battery and electric motors to drive the vessel out of the water and into the beach, as well as through more difficult terrains.
Lexus 650
The luxury automobile firm Lexus took the chance to debut its first motor yacht, the LY 650, at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With contemporary interiors designed by Nuvolari Lenard, this 65-foot yacht features a combination of carbon-reinforced and glass-reinforced hull and incredible views made possible by the installation of one of the biggest windshields of any yacht this size.
The Covet House Stand
The Covet House stand displayed luxurious mid-century and modern furniture that would create an amazing setting for a sophisticated yacht. PullCast was present at Covet House's booth at the Super Yacht Pavillion showcasing a few pieces, such as the Monocle Drawer Handles that you can see in the picture above.
